Courtney Dailey; with long blonde hair, blue eyes, makeup, and a gold Chanel necklace.

Hi Im Courtney

I help beauty and product brands and agencies turn complex campaign ideas into calm, high-converting productions. As a commercial photographer, director, and former AE, I think like a marketer first and a maker second; every frame is designed to build brand equity, stimulate desire, and support conversion, not just “look pretty.” My work lives in that sweet spot where bold, textural visuals meet strategy: imagery that stops the scroll, extends time with the brand, and makes adding to cart feel inevitable.

From my Los Angeles studio, often covered in powders, glosses, and potions. I lead a team of seasoned beauty pros from prep to post. Whether we’re shooting stills, motion, or animation, I design multi-faceted productions that maximize time on set and respect real-world budgets, so my clients walk away with a deep bench of usable assets. Select clients include Sephora, Urban Decay, Revlon, bareMinerals, Dr. Jart+, Kate Somerville, Neutrogena, Laura Mercier, and more.

At the end of the day, my job is simple: protect the vision, solve the problems, and deliver the work so Creative and Marketing Directors can breathe easier, look brilliant internally, and launch campaigns they’re genuinely proud of.

Clients include: About Face | Halsey, Bare Minerals, Colourpop ,Dr Jart, GXVE, Haus Labs | Lady Gaga, Kopari, KKW | Kim Kardashian, Lancer, Laura Mercier, May Lindstrom, Meaningful Beauty, Neutrogena, One Size, Revlon, Live Tinted, Too Faced, Sephora, Summer Fridays, Urban Decay, K18, IGK Jouer, Milani, IS CLINICAL, Kate Somerville, Kiss, Beekman 1802, Skinspirit, Kayura, Elle, Allure, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Creative Live, Fstoppers

What agencies bring me in for

  • Beauty campaign photography

  • Skincare and cosmetic product photography

  • Still life and texture imagery

  • On-figure stills and motion

  • Launch content for paid, organic, and e-commerce

  • Asset creation for retailer, DTC, and social rollout

Why teams come back

  • I understand creative and marketing goals, not just the shot list.

  • I know how to collaborate with art directors, producers, and brand stakeholders on set.

  • I bring a calm, adaptable energy when productions inevitably shift.

  • I think in terms of campaign systems, not one-off pretty pictures.

  • I care about making your team look good, not just making the image look good.
